Well offers a fun and easy-to-use app that helps you take small steps toward better health – all while earning gift cards. Well will also be required to earn your premium reduction.

Starting January 1, 2025, activating with Well is required to earn your premium reduction. 

To earn your 2026 premium reduction, complete the following by November 15, 2025. You can also find all details, and track your progress, by viewing the details within the Well app (visit “Rewards”) or web portal (visit “Challenges”).

Step 1. Create your Well account

1. Search for “Well Digital” in the Apple App store or Google Play, or scan the QR code to find Well in your app store.  Download the Well Digital app to your personal phone. Or, visit https://app.well.co/onboarding/start on the web.
2. Once you download and open the app, activate a new Well account with the following:

• Email address Octapharma Plasma  has on file for you (found in UltiPro)
• Personal mobile phone number
• Date of birth

AND

Step 2. Complete health risk assessment questionnaires on Well.

To complete your health risk assessment, navigate to “MyHealth”, and then “Wellness” on the app or web portal, and complete the five quick questionnaires you will find there. This will also help Well personalize your content and recommendations.

AND

Step 3. Complete a qualifying physician visit.

Complete a visit with your primary care provider or OB/GYN for preventive care or other health needs. If you need help finding a primary care provider, you may reach out to a Well Guide through the Well app or web portal.

All activities must be completed by November 15, 2025 to receive your premium reduction for 2026.

Well will be available to all employees enrolled in an Octapharma medical plan with UnitedHealthcare.

There are many ways to earn points every day with Well. You’ll earn points by completing actions in the app such as one-time suggestions, get-to-know you questions, and multi-day journeys on specific health topics.

First, when you create your Well account, you’ll automatically receive 2,500 points, which is worth $25 in gift cards (please allow two days for these bonus points to appear in your account).

Then, as you start using the Well app, you’ll find you can earn points in just seconds every day you. 

• Complete the “Take a Tour” action to learn how to use Well.
• Complete your health risk assessment. Find this under “MyHealth”, then “Wellness”. These  quick and easy questionnaires about  your health goals and needs will help Well personalize your experience (plus you’ll check off one of the requirements to earn your premium reduction for 2026).
• Use MyHealth entries every day to track activity, mood, sleep, blood pressure, or stress – track multiple entries and earn even more points.
• Answer the Question of the Day to further personalize the content Well offers you.
• Complete 7-, 14-, or 21-day Well journeys, offered on hundreds of health topics, and personalized to your interests.
• Check off health “to dos,” such as getting a flu shot or keeping your prescriptions up to date.
• Be on the lookout for special offers and opportunities to earn point bursts throughout the year!

Well is compatible with Apple Healthkit and Google Health Connect. You can sync data from any device or app that writes to Apple Healthkit and Google Health Connect including Strava, Peloton, Myfitnesspal, Whoop, iHealth, Polar, Oura, Omron and more.

If you do not see the “Connect your apps and devices” card on the home screen, follow these simple steps:

• • Tap “You” on the bottom navigation bar from the home screen.
    
  • Then, tap “Settings” to navigate to the “Apps and Devices” screen and follow the prompts.
    
  • Tap your device from the list to establish the connection. The text under each device name will change to “Connected” after the connection has been established.

Signing up for Well is easy. You’ll need the email address Octapharma Plasma has on file for you (check UltiPro), your personal mobile phone number, and your birth date.

No, at this time, dependents are not eligible for Well.

Octapharma Plasma is offering Well as a new benefit at no cost to eligible employees.

You can use Well through either the “Well Digital” mobile app on your phone or via our web portal at app.well.co on your computer. Currently, the Well mobile app offers a comprehensive experience, including the ability to receive personalized health actions and suggestions, earn points redeemable for gift cards, and access Well Guide support.

At this time,  you can do the following on both the web portal and mobile app:

• Activate your account
• Chat with a Well Guide
• Check your point total and redeem rewards
• Update your profile
• See available in-app challenges (however, many challenges will require the mobile app for completion)
• Complete Well Guide chat challenges
• Access Octapharma Plasma benefits information 
• Complete your health risk assessment (MyHealth > Wellness)

To enjoy the best experience and earn the most points, use the mobile app. With the app you can: 

• Complete journeys, health actions, and other suggestions
• Complete challenges that require journeys or health actions
• View articles

Well does not share your individual data or personal health information with Octapharma Plasma. Well may share aggregated data. For instance, Well may share how many members have engaged with a Well Guide or how many users have completed a journey. Well will never share your individual health information or app activity with Octapharma Plasma, and Octapharma Plasma will not be able to use any aggregated data that we may share with them to directly identify you. In very specific and limited circumstances, such as to support tax compliance or to enable certain rewards to be provided to you, we may share reports containing limited identifiable information with Octapharma Plasma.

Your payslip may show a non cash incentive under the line item for additional taxable income, which will include but would not be limited to the value of gift card prizes you might receive from Well.  The value of potential gift cards received will not be affected, and you will be able to redeem gift cards for their full value.
